In this hot hot weather the dogs are somewhat low key. It is nap time more often these days inside in the AC.
This is the first time Jack, Pet Haven alum, has been left since his parents adopted him last Sept. He made himself right at home on the couch. Too bad my mom went home. She could have had a couch companion.
Geordie, also a Pet Haven alum and Jack's brother, is comfy right in front of the AC. He was one of a litter of puppies that was left in a dumpster in rural Iowa. He and his littermates were the first blog entry of the Pet Haven blog. Look at him now.
And then there is our boy Mister in his famous pose. I wonder how many photos I have of him in just this same position. Makes me smile every time.
Unlike the rest of the crew on their soft spots, La Buddy, who is very much in need of a haircut, prefers to nap on the bare floor. He gets too hot with all that long poodle hair. Next on list-call groomer. Oh and maybe a nap myself. Stay cool everyone. We are.
